In the animal kingdom, an alpha male is someone who leads a group. The alpha male usually has a greater access to women than any other male in the group, although other males do occasionally have access to females as well.
The alpha male leads the group in times of danger and is usually responsible for everything that happens to the group. The alpha male usually has to fight with other males in order to maintain his position as the leader of the group. We can observe all of these behaviours in human beings. You might have heard that the alpha male is the guy who gets all the women, and that's absolutely right. It has been proven time and time again that people associate certain traits to men whom they consider dominant.

Alpha males are leaders. If you have always had trouble leading other men, then it will be difficult for you to become an alpha male. You must be able to lead your peers in times of danger and you must be able to retain your status. As you can imagine, you don't have to fight off lions like our ancestors did, but as an alpha male you must protect the women in your group and make everyone else feel like they're a part of the group.
Another trait of alpha males is that they are dominant. Everything that you do and say must communicate that you're the dominant male in that situation. Just by the way you sit and walk, women can tell how dominant you are. There is a secret for appearing to be more dominant: take more space. Whenever you sit down, make sure to take as much space as possible. When you walk, take long steps instead of short ones. Feel like you're the owner of the world.
Alpha males are always liked. If people don't like you, find what the reason is and fix it. The alpha male is usually the most liked person in a group, so if people secretly hate you, then you're doing it wrong.
